Landscapes of Memory.

“Landscape is history made visible” - J.B. Jackson

"There is an eternal landscape, a geography of the soul; we search for its outlines all our lives" - Josephine Hart

-

How are we affected by the landscapes we witness?

Do we see something of ourselves?

Do they help us to somehow understand the incomprehensible?

Do we get a sense of a collective memory, a memory witnessed, an inherited one of our own?

Something we can't unsee, an inner change we can’t undo.

Something permanent, something lost.
